Stretch, strengthen and rest

Yoga Classes are held every Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 am at Saratoga Health and Wellness, 358 Rt. 9 in Saratoga Springs. (across from the middle school). The classroom space is a large, spacious room, with windows and wall to wall mirrors. Props are provided EXCEPT for your own yoga mat. If you have any particular concerns about doing yoga because of your personal health history, please do not hesitate to call me. 518-573-3502

Fee: $20.00. Drop-ins welcome.

Attention to alignment, deep stretching, strengthening and balance is the focus of this yoga class. The class is appropriate for people new to yoga, people who feel especially challenged by tightness and inflexibility, or people 60 years and older who still love to move but may find that the average yoga class doesn't give enough instruction on how to move in and out of asana in a safe, grounded way. Participants need to be able to get up and down off the floor.

Call with any questions. 518-573-3502

I’ve been taking Pat’s yoga class for the past several years. Recently, I tripped in a parking lot while carrying two bags. The jolt pushed me forward, and as I started to fall, my legs automatically started taking fast small steps, and I was able to regain my balance without dropping my bags! This is an amazing feat for me as I’ve always had really bad balance and have fallen a number of times in the past. I would not have been able to do this two years ago before starting yoga.
